Foundations Psychiatry is a newly established behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality psychiatric care and comprehensive medication management to individuals of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. The experienced team, comprising Dr. Larson and Dr. Hirschi, specializes in a range of services, including Psych Evaluations, Medication Management, Spravato Treatment, and Addiction Management (MAT). We are committed to addressing all forms of mental health disorders, which encompass conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, insomnia, ADHD, dementia with behavioral concerns, and an array of other mood disturbances.


Dr. Larson brings a wealth of expertise to our practice, having completed an additional year of specialized training in Addiction Psychiatry, alongside his rigorous four-year psychiatric residency. Notably, he stands out as the only addiction physician in the St. George area, ensuring that our community has access to specialized care for those struggling with substance-related challenges.


On the other hand, Dr. Hirschi is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has further enriched his qualifications by completing a prestigious two-year fellowship program at Penn State University, in addition to his four-year psychiatry residency. This extensive training equips him to effectively address the unique mental health needs of younger populations.

Meet our St George Psychiatrists

Dr. Jeremy Larson was born and raised in St. George, Utah and is the oldest of four siblings. Dr. Larson completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Tech University and Utah Valley University. He then attended Touro University of Nevada for medical school and graduated in 2016. He found psychiatry to be the most gratifying specialty when in medical school and therefore chose to become a psychiatrist. He was accepted into psychiatry residency in Erie, Pennsylvania and graduated in 2020. Dr. Larson found throughout his time in residency that mental health disorders are often influenced by addiction and therefore chose to extend his studies an additional year in Cleveland, Ohio to complete an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship. He worked for an inpatient hospital for several months upon graduation until moving back to St. George. Treating patients with mental health and/or addiction disorders can be difficult, but also very uplifting when you can play a part in helping someone feel stable again!


Dr. Kenny Hirschi is a Native of Utah, and loves being able to practice in St. George where he lives with his family. After completing his Undergraduate Degree at University of Utah where he majored in Psychology, He went on to obtain his Medical degree from A.T Still University in Mesa AZ. He then moved across the country to complete his Psychiatric training and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Penn State University, where he was Chief Fellow during his last year of training. Dr. Hirschi is dually Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General adult as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Hirschi prides himself on diagnostic precision, working together with his patients to get to the root cause.

Foundations Psychiatry DOES NOT offer after hours crisis management services. If you are having a mental health crisis and are in need of St George Psychiatry help after our doors have closed for the day, please remember that help is still available.
