Meet the Doctor
Dr. Jeremy Larson was born and raised in St. George, Utah and is the oldest of four siblings. Dr. Larson completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Tech University and Utah Valley University. He then attended Touro University of Nevada for medical school and graduated in 2016. He found psychiatry to be the most gratifying specialty when in medical school and therefore chose to become a psychiatrist. He was accepted into psychiatry residency in Erie, Pennsylvania and graduated in 2020. Dr. Larson found throughout his time in residency that mental health disorders are often influenced by addiction and therefore chose to extend his studies an additional year in Cleveland, Ohio to complete an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship. He worked for an inpatient hospital for several months upon graduation until moving back to St. George earlier this year. Treating patients with mental health &/or addiction disorders can be difficult, but also very uplifting when you can play a part in helping someone feel stable again!
